ATG Solutions, LLC is a company that assist governments, developers, farmers, and others with the many challenges of water and wastewater. ATG Solutions works with our clients to understand their needs and design solutions around that meet their needs while meeting regulations, and benefiting the environment.
The principals and founders of our company are as follows:
Michael Myers
As a principal of ATG Solutions, Michael works with our clients to analyze, design and implement solutions that best fit each client. Our clients benefit from his experience and education in water and wastewater treatment, regulation, design and utility management. Prior to the formation of ATG Solutions, Michael was the Regional Engineer and Operations Manager for a large NYSE private utility company, responsible for serving over 100,000 customers in three states (VA, NC and SC). In addition, Michael has worked as a former regulator with the North Carolina Division of Water Quality and as a consulting engineer. Michael has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering and has been inducted into the National Engineering Honor Society, Agricultural Honor Society and the Agricultural Engineering Honor Society. Michael has published and presented papers on water quality, water and wastewater treatment, wastewater regulation, bioremediation of landfills, and various other
topics.
Neil R. Phillips
As a principal of ATG Solutions, Neil’s keen insight and involvement in our client’s projects is key to their success. Neil has a wide variety of experience including municipal and private utility management, business development, mergers and acquisitions. This unique blend of operating experience, municipal experience, system valuation and regulatory approval experience yields big dividends for our clients. Prior to the formation of ATG Solutions, Neil was the State President for a large NYSE private utility company. Neil was responsible for water and wastewater service to over 100,000 customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. In addition to his duties as chief operating officer, Neil was responsible for customer growth in each of the states, to include over 55 utility acquisitions and numerous developer based growth ventures. Prior to coming to North Carolina, Neil has worked as a Business Development manager, Municipal Authority Executive Director for a large municipal utility and a City Manager. Neil has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Delaware.
Randy Schawel
As a principal of ATG Solutions, Randy is involved in park and recreation amenity design and business development. He was Executive Director of the Itasca Park District outside of Chicago, IL. Randy has twenty eight years experience in conservation and park management and has held numerous board and committee positions on the Illinois Park District Association. The agency he led was named the National Gold Medal Award winner in 2004, the highest award for Park Agencies in the nation. In 2003, he was named Professional of the Year for the Illinois Park Association. Randy graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA degree and Roosevelt University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
Kenny Zwahr
As a principal of ATG Solutions, Kenny is involved in water and water quality issues as it relates to our clients projects. His expertise in all aspects of lakes and ponds and associated water amenities, and creative water use and reuse helps insure the highest and best use of our clients’ resources. Prior to the formation of ATG Solutions, he developed Danbury Fish Farms, Texas’ Largest Freshwater Fish Hatchery, The Lakes of Danbury, a nationally acclaimed recreational sport fishing operation, centered around professional bass fishing, and Danbury Lake Management, a professional lake management company. Kenny has 38 years of experience in business development and management, marketing and market development, land and lake design and development, recreational fisheries and ranch development and management, intensive aquaculture and water quality management. Prior to starting his own businesses, he attended college at Alvin Community College, Stephen F. Austin State University, and University of Houston, taking mostly biological and pre-medical courses.
